Gabriel Rodriguez Ph.D is an Advisor of VRD HealthTech Inc.
Gabriel Rodriguez is a clinical neuropsychologist and professor working in the Disorders of Consciousness program at TIRR Memorial Hermann Hospital and University of Houston Health Science Center Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Houston, TX, where he explores establishing communication with patients in vegetative state, minimally conscious state or emerged from coma.
Gabriel obtained his PhD degree at Universidad de Salamanca, Spain and for fourteen years he has been charge of preserving language functions during awake-patient brain tumor surgeries in Costa Rica and actually at Memorial Hermann Hospital. He has served as consultant for UNICEF, World Bank, Sixense VR, West Virginia University and Pan-American Health Organization.
